Best Husband in the World!

I am sorry to all the girls out there but I have married the best man in the world! I know this is super cheesy but I have to publicly tell Taylor how amazing he has been. I have been so stressed with school and work and everything that I thought I was going to crack.

I am going to SLCC this semester and am going to finish up an general associates degree. I am doing this while I apply for nursing schools and try to get in. Plus which ever nursing school I do get into, I won't have to deal with their general classes because will accept the associates for all of that. Anyway, I have been so stressed out trying to figure out which ridiculous classes SLCC wants me to take and then trying to get into those classes a couple days before school starts. Not the easiest thing to do, especially since the classes I need are requirements EVERYONE has. No matter what other classes you have taken. I finally got into all the classes I need but it is going to be busy. They are not particularly hard classes just busy. I am taking writing 1010(even though I took 2010 at the U, SLCC still requires you take 1010) CIS 1020(computers, required for all), nutrition, personal finance, and a biology lab(taken the class but they won't transfer it b/c the U doesn't offer labs therefore I have to take the lab).

Five classes can't be that bad, it is only 13 credit hours. It wouldn't be that bad if I wasn't trying to work full time as well. Yes, I am crazy and trying to work full time which is 36hrs/week and then I have 40-58 hours of call on top of that every three weeks. Needless to say, I have been extremely stressed of how I am going to work, do well in all my classes, and find anytime to study. I go to work then start to school until between 7pm or 10pm.

Back to the main point of this post was how Taylor has been so amazing. He knows I have been really nervous and super stressed and has helped so much. He has done dishes everyday, he vacuums, and puts all the junk away, he went to the store and bought me lunch snacks so I could have food for school, he makes me dinner, he helps with me homework, and has just been there for me so much! I seriously am overwhelmed at how much he loves me and has been willing to use up his precious time (b/c he is working and going to school full time as well) to help me. He is seriously an amazing man and I am so lucky to have married him. I cannot think of anything better in my life!

I love you so much Taylor. I am so thankful for everything you have done for me and how much you have helped relieve a lot of stress. You are an amazing man and I am so lucky to have you!

School is Out Adventure

Our school is out adventure! Finals were over, the semester done! We decided to take a week off and run away to California! We left Sunday May, 2nd and didn't come back until the following Sunday. It was such a great week!
The trip started out a little rough. See, the truck we were supposed to take is usually used for a trucking route over the weekend. We informed the driver that we were taking that truck and he needed to take a different one, that was designated for him. Well he forgot because when we went to pick the truck and trailer up from MaxWay, the truck was gone. A long story short, we had to drive the right truck 3hrs to pick up our truck. Adding 3hrs to an already 12hr drive was not our idea of fun. We finally were able to being our drive to sunny San Diego at 10am (instead of 730 like we planned). Everything was going smoothly and the drive was great... Until we got to the California/Nevada. We hit a dead stop in traffic. We forgot about everyone heading back to Cali after a weekend in Vegas. So that added another 2hrs to our trip. In all our drive ended up being 17hrs, but we finally made it :)

Monday we went to Sea World! I had never been and I am so glad that we went. It was awesome! We saw the Shamu show, the sea lion and otter show, all the fish and everything else. Since it was a Monday there were not very many people there. The best part I think was feeding and petting the Dolphins. It was so cool, they are dry and rubbery feeling and really as playful as they seem! We also went to the beach, it was freezing cold so we just walked along the shore line and enjoyed the view.

Tuesday we slept in a little bit because we were exhausted. Then went to Tijuana, Mexico. I had never been there either so I was excited and a little nervous. It was NOT what we expected. Our bad economy has really affected them as well. The area that used to be full of shops was pretty much gone. There were only about 12 shops right on the other side of the border, so we had to cross a little farther into the city. We ended up getting some pretty great stuff. I bought 3 purses and Taylor bought: 2 belt buckles, 1 knife, 3 shirts, and 2 watches. We were pretty happy. That night I was able to fulfill one of my life long dreams... We went to a major league baseball game. The Padres vs. the Colorado Rockies! It was so fun, we had great seats, great food, and a great game. The Padres won the game in the bottom of the ninth. A perfect ending.

Wednesday, we got up really early and drove more to LA. We went to the Price is Right! It is fun
to say we have been but it was a lot different then we thought it was going to be. The studio is TINY! I couldn't believe it! Also, they want you cheering the whole time so you can't hear a thing that is going on! It is really fun experience and it would be amazing to be on the show but it is a long day to not get on. It ends up being about a 6hr day after all the waiting and interviewing and etc.
Thursday, we had to work. We drove back to San Diego and went to go preview the bikes for the following day. Taylor did all the previewing and I just sat and took notes for him. After we were done we went to see the movie Date Night. It was funny but not as great as we thought it should be. It didn't help that it was just Taylor and I and then some weird old guy in the theater. haha
Friday was the auction. We went in with a plan and it went great. Taylor was able to pick up 12 cruisers! They are beautiful bikes! If you are interested in riding, now is the time to get a beautiful cheap motorcycle. We were done pretty early because the cruisers go first. We loaded up and then went to see how the bullet bikes were doing. They were still to high to buy so we just left, we were already happy with the load we got. We didn't have enough room in the trailer so we had to send a couple bikes home with someone else. Then we headed to Vegas!
Friday night and Saturday we played in Vegas. We went shopping and played a little poker. We swam and ate and had a wonderful end to our weekend!

A hard week

This week is a hard week for me but a wonderful week for Taylor. I know that sounds really funny but it is true. This is auction week. Taylor goes to California for the week to get motorcycles for his business. He loves it butt is a long week for him. He has to drive 24hrs in 3 days plus an 10hr auction that is fast passe, huge decisions are made, a lot of money is spent, and he is on his feet all day long. The auction is a great sign of how well his business is doing. If he needs to go down then he has sold a lot of bikes the month before. Which has definitely happened this year. He has sold over 30 bikes since January 1, which is amazing since it is winter and we can't ride yet. The week is really hard for me though. I hate being here at home all by myself. I get really lonely and I totally freak myself out with noises. I have been really struggling lately with feeling lonely and not cared about by some people around me so this week kind of comes at a bad time for me.It is a good thing and bad thing to have Honda around. He can really comfort me but he is a lot of work by your self. I guess it is just prepping me to be a stay at home mom. ha ha.

Though it is really hard for me to be alone, I am so proud of Taylor. There are not many 22 year old around that have such successful businesses. He works amazingly hard. People definitely don't give him the credit for how hard he has to work, just because he doesn't have a set schedule doesn't mean he is not busy all day every day! I am so proud of Taylor for all hard work and everything he does. I love you babe and miss you so much!

Our Bath Adventure!

One Sunday afternoon, we took Honda to our next door neighbors house so he could play with his friends. Our neighbor Scott has a yellow lab and our neighbor across the street has 2 golden retrievers and they all love to play! The yard they like to play in has no grass so it is just mud right now. The dogs get extremely muddy and dirty after playing for just a few minutes. Since Honda was such a muddy mess we decided to give him a bath. Well, Honda hates the bath apparently. We put him in the tub and he and started wetting him down. Taylor has to get into his swimsuit to give the bath because he gets so wet. Honda decided he didn't want a bath so after getting a little wet he jumped out of the tub! Luckily we had the bathroom door closed so he didn't get out of the bathroom but he sure made a mess of the bathroom. The floor turned into a muddy mess. He did not want want to get back in. Taylor did everything he could to get him back in the tub and Honda did everything he could to keep himself out of the tub. We finally got him back in the tub and finished the bath but not after a huge mess. I have a video but it won't upload. Check out my facebook page and you will find it there. So here is just a little picture of our handsome puppy who we love, even when he escapes from the bath tub.

Merry Christmas!

Taylor and I were really spoiled by Santa this year. :) I cannot believe that it is our second Christmas together already. Time really flies by when you are in love and have a wonderful life. Christmas was extremely busy as usually. Finishing up school, cutting down our own tree, cleaning the house so we could put up the tree and going Christmas shopping for all the Christmas presents.

Taylor got a raptor 660 for Christmas (black) and I got a raptor 350 (blue). We are super excited for them. We want to go to the sand dunes on little weekend get aways. I wouldn't ride my dirt bike on the dunes because it is to hard on my body. What a great way to get more toys. Our theory is that we have to get the toys now why we can afford them and we don't have kids to worry about! Live life to the fullest!! Taylor got the most spoiled. Not only did he get a four wheeler but he also bought himself an AR15! ha ha It is pretty sweet. It is all decked out, entry-tactical style with an awesome scope for long distance shooting. We may not have much food storage but we could protect anyoneelse's!

We are so grateful for all our many blessing and that we are able to do the things we love! Christmas was so much fun, a great ending to an Amazing Year! 2009 was absolutely life changing and we can't wait to see what 2010 brings!
