TAYLOR AND NIKKI: 6 Months Old

Liam has been growing and changing so much. At 6 months old he is finally rolling over from his back to his tummy. He is such a stubborn little boy and hasn't wanted to roll all the way over. He would just go half way and then chill on his side. He now won't stay on his back, funny how fast he changes his mind. He rolls right over on to his tummy and them reaches for anything in his general vicinity. Everything still goes directly into his mouth! Of course this brought on another round of frustration because once things are out of his reach he gets angry at them. He makes me laugh. He loves sitting up and hitting everything in his reach because he loves the noise. I love that he can finally sit and roll on his own, gives me a little more freedom. He also loves his bouncer! He can bounce in that thing forever and he giggles the whole time! I keep waiting for his top teeth to come in but they haven't yet, just really swollen gums. Both bottom teeth are in and are super sharp!

Liam LOVES food now. He is becoming a fabulous eater and will eat anything I put in front of him. Even if he isn't the biggest fan, he will still eat most of it. His favorite foods are Cinnamon raisin granola, chicken with apples, sweet peas, mango and EGGS. I've started making him his own egg every morning because he loves them so much! I tried the whole make your own baby food thing but it never went over very well so I gave up. He loves trying everything that Taylor and I are eating and we gladly let him try it all. So far he is a better eater then I am and I'd love to keep it that way! We know when Liam really loves his food because he makes this "mmm"ing noise. It is so funny to listen to him. As soon as the food hits his mouth he starts making the delicious noise and can't wait for the next bit. He doesn't like how liquidy baby food is so we usually thicken everything up with some rice cereal and his much happier. We have start stage 3 foods and allow him to try everything we are eating! Crackers are another great adventure for Liam because he can feed himself. His fine motor skills aren't there yet so he can't pick up little pieces yet but crackers are big enough to eat and smash! Double Fun!

Liam loves Honda so much, every time Honda comes into the room he squeals with excitement. Honda will tolerate him but after a few minutes of being close enough for his fur, ears, and tail to be pulled he gets up and leaves. Crawling will be an adventure for the whole family!

Liam went to all but 1 of Uncle Jesse's, East High football games. They were undefeated until the State Championship game where they lost to Timpview, it was sad but Liam loved cheering him on all season long!

We went and cut down our own Christmas tree together. Liam loved being on the snowmobile and going fast. He usually would start yelling at us if we stopped. We got a great tree for our first Christmas tree as a family. So excited for Christmas with this little man! This is him in all his snow clothes, ready to play! This little boy makes me smile so much!

This month he celebrated his first Thanksgiving! He loves real food and loved all the Thanksgiving treats! On Thanksgiving day we went to the Turkey bowl held by Taylor's parents ward. There was a lot of people and Liam enjoyed watching football and playing with his own little football. It was really cold that morning so we eventually headed to Grammy Cherie's house and played with toys until the boys were done. Liam loves his grandparents houses, he always has so much fun.
