Freaking Out!!

I have to teach my first Young Women's Lesson on Sunday and I am freaking out. Most people are really going to roll their eyes at this statement but they don't know me very well. I HATE being in front of people, it absolutely terrifies me! I have been looking at this lesson for over a week now and I honestly have no idea what I am doing! I am hoping and praying that the Lord will help me get through this first lesson and my very first teaching experience. The last couple of days has been a serious emotional roller coaster and I am sure that having my emotions and thoughts all over the place is not helping my nerves on planning this lesson. But I am learning to rely 100% on the Lord, so that is what I am trying to do with this lesson. Plus searching a lot of sites, reading lots of scripture, saying many prayers, and reading/re-reading the lesson manual... Hopefully that will be enough! Wish me luck, I am seriously going to need all the help I can get!!!

  2. Nikki, I just came across your blog and I was touched by your post. I just felt like I wanted to comment and let you know I can tell you're going to do great at teaching this week! Your testimony is written all over your blog. When I gave my first lesson in church I read from, "Teaching-No Greater Call." If you haven't already I'd look it up on-line and look over it. It is truely inspired to help learn how to teach by the Spirit. While you're teaching listen to the small promptings from the Spirit. You'll be surprised how random thoughts will just pop into your head while you're talking. You are set apart to help these girls. They always say some of the strongest are called to work with the youth. Good luck! :)
PS - Your title picture is gorgeous. That is my favorite view of the temple for wedding pics.
